Strenghtening church-youth connection
Vayoc Dzor COYA has initiated a series of meetings the main aim of which is strengthening the connection of youth and church, keeping and spreading spiritual and cultural values.
On March 5 Vayoc Dzor regional center for organizing youth activities hosted youth wing of Armenian Red Cross company’s branch in Eghegnadzor. The aim was to show the documentary film “Blanka”.
On March 7, 2010 by the initiative of “Regional youth center of Vayots Dzor” NGO was organized annual meeting of third and fourth years students of different universities. Samvel Sargsyan, the deputy of the National Assembly was the sponsor of Students’ meeting and the event organized to celebrate Women’ International Day.
On 24th of February at Vayoc Dzor regional center for organizing youth activities took place a meeting with the volunteers of the center. In the meeting took part students, heads of student councils, employees of the center and others.
On December 26 Vayoc Dzor COYA celebrated coming New Year in “Dav” hall of Eghegnadzor. Samvel Sargsyan, NA deputy, heads of local self-government bodies, directores of schools, workers of marzpetaran were present.
The UN Department of Public Information in cooperation with the Armenian UN Association, the “Center of Organizing Youth Activities” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and International Organization for Migration Mission organize UN Model conferences in all the regions of the Republic.
On September 3 Turkish experts Behlul Ozkan, foreign policy expert at the Bogazchi University of Istanbul and Zafer Yoruk, the sociologist and the lecturer at the Izmir University were the guests of School for Young Leaders (SYL) of “Center for Organizing Youth Activities” state non-profit organization. RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the opening of “Baze” youth assembly organized by Armenian Youth Foundation on August 23, Tsakhkadzor. About 300 young people of 18-30 years old from Armenia, Artsakh and Javakhq are participating in the event. Read more...
