Preservation of monuments today
On April 15 at Vayoc Dzor regional COYA was invited session by Vayoc Dzor regional service of preservation of historic and cultural monuments. Workers of Vayoc Dzor regional organization: curators of monuments, workers of marzpetaran and other guests were participating in the session. Regional service periodically invites such sessions which have aim to be informed about nowadays condition of monuments and what works are done to preserve them.
Even the rain didn’t keep hundred people from visit to Noravanq to celebrate the pilgrimage day of the church. The volunteers of Vayoc Dzor regional COYA for whom to visit Noravanq is tradition participated in the feast called “Green Sunday” on April 18.
Vayoc Dzor regional COYA closely cooperates with Vayoc Dzor marzpetaran, especially with department of culture, sport and youth. In the result of cooperation many programs and events were jointly realized. The center is always in the focus of attention of marzpetaran due to which cooperation becomes closer.
On April 10 at regional Vayoc Dzor COYA impetuous discussion was held. The topic of the first discussion club of the year was “Destiny or providence”. 11 members of the club, the center volunteers, teachers of history and Spiritual Father of Eghegnadzor were participating in the discussion.
The first fruits of the work of volunteers’ group studying national-cultural values
Vayoc Dzor COYA continues to organize a series of meetings the main aim of which is strengthening the connection of youth and church, keeping and spreading spiritual and cultural values.The wish to reach this aim gave occasion to form volunteers’ group studying national-cultural values.
The UN Department of Public Information in cooperation with the Armenian UN Association, the “Center of Organizing Youth Activities” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and International Organization for Migration Mission organize UN Model conferences in all the regions of the Republic.
On September 3 Turkish experts Behlul Ozkan, foreign policy expert at the Bogazchi University of Istanbul and Zafer Yoruk, the sociologist and the lecturer at the Izmir University were the guests of School for Young Leaders (SYL) of “Center for Organizing Youth Activities” state non-profit organization.
