Cinema club in Vayots Dzor COYA
Henceforth at Vayots Dzor regional center for organizing youth activities Cinema club will function. Hasmik Margaryan, the worker of Vayots Dzor regional COYA says that idea of opening of the club existed before. The movies which will be shown at club must be educational and cognitive for raising cultural taste of young people.
On April 30 took place the first working meeting of journalistic group of Vayots Dzor regional COYA. The members of the group majority of them were students of different universities of Eghegnadzor made interesting suggestions during the meeting. They promised to use their professional abilities and skills and actively participate in gathering and spreading information about the events being held in the region.
“Do you have demand in regard to financial organization? Are your rights infringed?”, with these words began the meeting of 15 representatives of functioning banks in Vayots Dzor with the workers of “The office of conciliatory of financial system”. The meeting which was held at Vayots Dzor regional COYA had aim to get acquainted the specialists of Vayots Dzor
Marzpetaran together with young people of Vayoc Dzor regional COYA initiated the series of events dedicated to 95th anniversary of Armenian Genocide. Not only April 24 but also April 23 was full of events devoted to Genocide. The event started with showing of chronicle-documentary movie devoted to Genocide shot by American “Cinemaline” studio in 2006.
On April 15 at Vayoc Dzor regional COYA was invited session by Vayoc Dzor regional service of preservation of historic and cultural monuments. Workers of Vayoc Dzor regional organization: curators of monuments, workers of marzpetaran and other guests were participating in the session. Regional service periodically invites such sessions which have aim to be informed about nowadays condition of monuments and what works are done to preserve them.
The UN Department of Public Information in cooperation with the Armenian UN Association, the “Center of Organizing Youth Activities” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and International Organization for Migration Mission organize UN Model conferences in all the regions of the Republic.
On September 3 Turkish experts Behlul Ozkan, foreign policy expert at the Bogazchi University of Istanbul and Zafer Yoruk, the sociologist and the lecturer at the Izmir University were the guests of School for Young Leaders (SYL) of “Center for Organizing Youth Activities” state non-profit organization.
