The staff of Syunik regional center for organizing youth activities and other 9 regional COYAs from May 31 to June 2 participated in the training on “Volunteerism: Theory and Practice” which was the first stage of “Capacity-building for staff and volunteers of the Regional Youth Centers” program and was held in Gyumri.
On May 20 at Syunik center for organizing youth activities was held seminar-discussion on “Freedom of information” organized by the Kapan regional office of the Armenian Young Lawyers Association. 25 participants: the young lawyers of the region, the workers of state structures, the representatives of NGOs, the volunteers of COYA were present.
On May 14 at Syunik center for organizing youth activities “Uranium Phobia” documentary was shown which is dedicated to the implementation of the uranium project in Armenia and conflict of interests of population and public circles. The representatives of interested organizations, the volunteers of Syunik COYA were participating in the event. 
On May 8 at Syunik regional COYA was held round table-discussion invited by “The society of business women of Kapan” NGO in the frame of “Strengthening women business and leadership skills” program. The aim of the program is to study Kapan region’s women’ business possibilities, needs and their ideas having own business.
On April 18 in Syunik regional COYA was held regional stage of the contest on English language spelling organized by “Teachers of Kapan” NGO with the cooperation of USA Peace Corpus.News
