On September 6-7 Shirak regional center for organizing youth activities organized training course for the volunteers of Shirak regional COYA, young people and for the volunteers and representatives of NGOs. The main aim of the training is to give the young people knowledge about strategic planning, PR skills, effective management and etc. 
On August 30 Shirak regional center for organizing youth activities invited discussion on “Education”. The main aim of the discussion was to raise all the issues and omissions of the educational system. 
On August 19 Shirak regional center for organizing youth activities invited discussion devoted to the World Humanitarian Day.
“Diaspora helps and supports the youth of Armenia”: it was the topic of the next discussion organized at Shirak regional center for organizing youth activities. The aim of the event was to strengthen Armenia-Diaspora connection. The representatives of youth NGOs of the region, the volunteers, students were participating in the event. 
The discussion on “If TV dangerous for mental health” was held at Shirak regional center for organizing youth activities on August 15. The main aim of the discussion was to inform young people about good and bad sides of TV. The representatives of youth NGOs of the region, the volunteers, students were participating in the event. The UN Department of Public Information in cooperation with the Armenian UN Association, the “Center of Organizing Youth Activities” of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and International Organization for Migration Mission organize UN Model conferences in all the regions of the Republic. 
On September 3 Turkish experts Behlul Ozkan, foreign policy expert at the Bogazchi University of Istanbul and Zafer Yoruk, the sociologist and the lecturer at the Izmir University were the guests of School for Young Leaders (SYL) of “Center for Organizing Youth Activities” state non-profit organization.
